About

Millswood Lawn Tennis Club, established in 1922, is located on Millswood Crescent, behind the Bowling and Croquet Clubs. We have six natural grass courts, and the summer season runs from the middle of October until the end of April./early May. There's a sign on the Bowling Club driveway and parking by the courts.

Playing on lawn is easier on your body and cooler in the heat of summer.

Millswood Lawn Tennis Club has a long history in the local community. MLTC currently has a strong membership of 60 – a wide cross section who all play on a regular basis. This provides a very diverse range of participants and ensures everyone gets a fair game.

We welcome all ages and standards of players.

Coaching is available at the club after 4.30pm each Saturday. Our coach is Bill Purling. Fees vary depending on whether you choose individual or group coaching. Don't be shy, come on out and have a try! Call Christine for more information and to book on 0438 862 853.

Our club actively promotes competitive and social tennis in the local community and beyond. Our club has social players, as well as a strong representation of competition players.

Covid 19 update

Although Covid case numbers have reduced and restrictions have been eased we are still conscious of the health and well-being of our members and visitors. Hand sanitiser is available at the clubhouse and we continue to encourage its use. We also ask that anyone who tests positive after being at the club to communicate this so that we can inform others that you have been in contact with. As a further safeguard we request that if you are unwell please stay away from the club in the interests of protecting fellow members.
